Nick is a multimedia communications practitioner with a background in human security project coordination.

He is responsible for supporting the growth of Siren from its Beirut office by overseeing Siren’s corporate and project communications, visual identity and media presence.

Nick joins the Beirut office after having worked with Siren for four years in Jordan. During that period he designed and implemented communication strategies for Siren’s projects in Jordan, and worked closely with relevant stakeholders and beneficiaries to ensure national and international coverage of key programme milestones. He also coordinated Siren’s activities with the Gendarmerie for a period of two years.

Nick has a master’s degree in Middle East Politics from Soas and an undergraduate degree in Human Geography from the University of Bristol. He is currently undertaking a Certificate in Journalism at the American University of Beirut and an accreditation in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the Arab Union of Photographers.

Nick is fluent in English and has advanced capability in Arabic.
