Stevie served as a police officer in Northern Ireland in various roles for 30 years and has previously worked around the world in the field on Community Policing and training of trainers from South East Asia to the Balkans. Currently Stevie is the Component Manager in charge of core policing and community policing on the UKPST project in Jordan. He has been working in Jordan as part of the British Embassy Policing Support Team since October 2013 and is now a Senior Associate for Siren. He is responsible for the design and implementation of the new community policing initiative to Zaatari and Azraq Refugee Camps. He has demonstrated his ability to respond to changes in the Syrian refugee crisis to meet the aims and objectives of the project. He is now transplanting that concept of policing into the host community of Jordan.
